2017 Elementary Playground

Thank you to the West Monona Football team for helping to prepare the West Monona Elementary playground for the start of the school year. They spent the morning of August 8 working with groundskeeper, Mike Cummins, and custodian, Gary Madsen, to spread the wood chips on the playground. Coach Potter was very proud of the young men that helped spread wood chips at the elementary playground. A lot of the players came and helped for part of the time and some even worked all four hours. Winners on and off the field!

5th Grade Band Night

If you and your student would like to be part of the band program next year and they have not already been tested, I will be testing students on August 21st from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. in the Elementary Commons. Midbell music will also be there to talk to you about instrument rental and options to get instruments into your student’s hands once an instrument has been decided on. This way you will have the opportunity to get everything done in one go while being part of the testing process. If your student has been tested, but have yet to get your instrument, this would be a great time to come in and get one as they will have several of each instrument there that evening.
