Hello Spartans!
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be the new West Monona Elementary principal! I have been a part of the West Monona Community School district since I was five years old. After graduating from West Monona, I attended college at Morningside College where I met my husband. We returned to Monona County to raise our daughter and son in this beautiful community. Now that I am West Monona’s Elementary Principal, I look forward to working with and impacting all of our amazing staff and students on a daily basis.
I believe in building strong relationships with students and engaging them in critical thinking that will prepare them for the world in which they live. It is my belief that we need to provide a structured, safe, and caring environment for all students. We will strive to create an environment where all students choose to be kind. The PBIS philosophy provides a framework for our expectations, teaching of those expectations, positive reinforcement, and corrective actions for being Spartan STARS. Our expectations are:

I will strive to make West Monona Elementary an environment built on dignity and respect for all students, staff, and stakeholders. We will create a positive and safe environment where all students can grow and meet their full potential.
