donated decodable books

Regina Henschen, a Reading Interventionist at the Elementary received a Mini-Grant from the West Monona Foundation.  The grant enabled her to buy 98 titles of decodable books, each title consists of 3 copies each.  These books will give the students opportunities to practice the desired phonic skill that she is teaching them.  The Phonics Reading Approach has been proven to be highly effective and is an evidence-based approach to improve reading skills.  She would like to sincerely thank the West Monona Foundation for these much-needed books.
