November

  • Mr. Groves

    • The October student of the month for Mr. Groves is Jalyn Struble. Jalyn has earned this honor because of an outstanding work ethic, quality work on challenging projects, and her willingness to help others whenever they need it.

  • Mr. Roeder

    • I would like to nominate J.J. Lander for the student of the month. He has been working really hard in Spanish. He always comes to class with a positive attitude. J.J. is a great student-athlete and shows leadership on and off the field.

  • Ms. Gries

    • It was very hard for me to just choose one outstanding student to recognize - there are so many great students at West Monona!

    • I chose Riley Needd for the student of the month.  Riley works very hard in class and outside of class, is able to assist others when they need help understanding a concept, and participates often during classroom discussions.  Riley is extremely organized and is a reliable helper. She is interested in math concepts and how they relate to her "real life" experiences.  I am enjoying having Riley in my class with her positive attitude.  Keep working hard, Riley, and it will continue to pay off!

  • Mr. Hamblen

    • I am selecting Mollie Lage as my November student of the month. Mollie is an extremely hard worker in math class. She is always on time, prepared, and ready to participate in Algebra. She is extremely insightful and is great at making connections between ideas and real-world applications. Mollie always strives to be the best she can be and, as a result, performs at a very high level in an advanced math course. She is a great role model and exemplifies the qualities all Spartans should have. For these reasons, I have selected Mollie as the student of the month for November.
