Here is West Monona December 2021 student of the Month!!

Mrs. Mann
Addison Halverson has an outstanding work ethic in class. She strives to do her best at everything she does. I have watched her help others in class when they find something difficult. I witnessed Addison being kind, positive, respectful, involved in school activities, determined and she has demonstrated excellence in the projects that she has completed.
Mr. Moore
Kodiak Nelson is a model student-athlete. He has a 4.0 GPA and has yet to have a single late assignment in my class. I’m very impressed with his ability to manage his time with a busy basketball schedule. Kodiak is also dedicated to the weight room. Although I don’t coach Kodiak directly, he has taken the initiative to contact me several times to take advantage of extra weight room opportunities. West Monona will miss his leadership next year.
Mrs. Holiday
I am nominating Kelton Brown. I have seen Kelton grow into a responsible student over the three years that I have known him. He is helpful towards his classmates, respectful towards adults, and is able to problem-solve. He still complains about doing work most of the time….but now this year, he buckles down and gets it done and that is progress.
