Congratulations Spartan Artists!
The Western Valley Conference Art Show was hosted by Siouxland Christian March 24, 2022, with 10 conference schools competing. Up to 500 art works were submitted for judging, and West Monona high school art students earned the following accolades:
Eva Towner- 3rd place medalist and a white ribbon in printmaking
Maggie Lage- red ribbon in photography
Sage Minnihan-3rd place medalist and a white ribbon in photograph. 1st place medalist and a blue ribbon in photography
Novie Stanislav-2nd place medalist and a red ribbon in photography
Jena Emmart- 1st place medalist and a blue ribbon in graphic design
Miella Struble- red ribbon in ceramics
Neveah Levering- 2nd place medalist and red ribbon in graphic design
Emma Jensen- Teacher’s Choice Award
Medals were awarded to the top three art pieces in the following categories:
drawing, painting, photography, graphic design, ceramics , sculpture and ceramics.
