West Monona's November Student of the Month!

November

  • Mr. Groves (MS/HS)

    • Miah Hillman

    • I have chosen Miah Hillman as my choice for November. Miah has demonstrated a great work ethic in Materials Processes class. She has been creative in her choice of projects. She has shown that she takes great pride in doing her very best on her projects at all times. She has been creative in incorporating different materials in the construction of them. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.

  • Mr. Roeder (MS/HS)

    • Ava Stangel

    • Ava is a staple of what Spartan Pride is all about. Ava doesn’t only just demonstrate a positive attitude, she spreads it. She is always respectful to her teachers and the other students. Ava is very involved in school and in the community. Ava is a multi-sport athlete that always goes above and beyond and gives 100% in everything she does. Ava is determined to be the best and is consistently working hard in the classroom and in her sport. I am very confident that Ava will have great success in whatever she chooses to do in the future. Actions speak louder than words, and for me, Ava has truly demonstrated what not only being a student-athlete means but what being a student of the month is.

  • Ms. Pohlman (MS)

    • Nevaeh Healy

    • The student I chose for “Student of the Month” is respectful to me, to others, and to the school. She doesn’t expect recognition or rewards but shows respect because that is just who she is. I am so thankful that she is in my class this year, and I know that in the future, she will be successful in anything she puts her mind to. My “Student of the Month” is Nevaeh Healy.

  • Mr. Riedemann (MS)

Bentley Cole

  • My student of the month never misses a beat. He has shown terrific skills not only in the school aspect but also in life. He is always one that I can count on to twist my brain when it comes to math by saying “well I did it this way and still got the right answer”. His fascination with learning and thinking outside the box truly amazes me. Most importantly, he goes out of his way to make sure to tell me “good morning” in the mornings, “thank you and have a great rest of your day” during the school day, and “see ya, have a great night” each day before he leaves. That to me stands out the most. For these reasons and countless more, I have chosen Bentley Cole as my student of the month.
