**Athletic Update**
JH Boys Basketball will be playing at 4:00pm today against Charter Oak. This time is different than the time that is posted on our website.

Rogge Construction will begin closing the gate that leads around the high school building on the southwest side by our weight room. There will be a lot of equipment in and out of that space for the next 3 months. Parents will need to pick up their children in the front of the school after athletic practices to prevent congestion. Students will continue to use the front door as an entrance and exit for athletic practices, competitions, and school attendance. All buses will pick students up and drop them off for athletic events in the front.

Girls JV will start at 4:30pm. There will be NO boys JV. Varsity Boys will start at 6:00pm.

Due to impending weather, the wrestling meet for tonight in Dakota Valley has been postponed. A rescheduled date will be shared once that is scheduled.
Also, the quad scheduled for this Thursday, November 11th, has been moved to Ridge View.

The Elementary Winter Concert is tonight, Monday December 8th!

K and 1st grade students should arrive at 5:45 p.m. and meet in the High School Music Room. Their concert will begin at 6:00 p.m.
2nd and 3rd grade students should arrive at 6:30 p.m. and meet in the High School Library. Their concert will begin at 6:45 p.m.
4th and 5th grade students should arrive at 7:15 p.m. and meet in the High School Music room. Their concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.

All West Monona extracurricular activities for tomorrow are cancelled due to weather conditions. This includes both the boys and girls wrestling tournaments tomorrow in Orange City and Audubon, as well as the JV Girls Basketball Tournament in Moville.

Athletic Schedule Update:
HS Boys Wrestling kicks off their season on Thursday in Denison. The start time for this dual is 5:00pm, which is 30 minutes earlier than our original scheduled time.
HS Girls Basketball - JVR & JV will play Saturday, December 6th in Moville. They will play two games. First game will be at 9:00am against Sioux Central and the second will be at 11:00am against Akron.

If your 7th-12th band student participated in the Butter Braid Band Fundraiser, they are in! Students will bring home their orders today, or a parent can pick them up. But all orders must be picked up by 1:30pm - end of the day today. Orders need to be delivered right away, or make sure they are put into the freezer until they can be delivered as they must remain frozen.
