Girls JH wrestling that was scheduled for December 16th in Underwood has been moved to Monday, December 1st. Wrestling will start at 4:15pm.

If your 7th-12th band student participated in the Butter Braid Band Fundraiser, they are in! Students will bring home their orders today, or a parent can pick them up. But all orders must be picked up by 1:30pm - end of the day today. Orders need to be delivered right away, or make sure they are put into the freezer until they can be delivered as they must remain frozen.

Attention 7-12 band parents: The butter braid fundraiser items are in! Please make arrangements to have your orders picked up by the end of the school day today at 1:30!

Reminder that today is a 2 hour early out, 1:30 dismissal. There is no school for the remainder of the week. Happy Holidays!

The Wolves' Home Quad that is scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25th has been canceled.

Good news!  Water has been restored to the 6-12 building so we will be able to have school tomorrow. Special thanks to Joe Monahan, the custodians, Brent Griffith Plumbing, and Osborne  Underground LLC for spending their weekend making the repairs and getting everything ready to go!

I wanted to give you an update on the water issues from yesterday. The water main that feeds the 6-12 building broke somewhere underneath the building, resulting in water coming up through the floor where it meets the wall in several spots, including the mechanical room, kitchen, industrial arts room, and the hallway leading to the art room. Luckily, it was noticed right away, and service to the building was turned off quickly; however, there was still quite a bit of water on the floors, which got into the commons, music room, art room, and locker room hallway. Thanks to our outstanding custodial staff, as well as other staff members who are too numerous to name, the standing water was removed from the building in short order, preventing any damage to the gyms or auditorium. KUDOS to all of you! Serv Pro was called in, and they worked yesterday and are also on-site today to clean up the mess left behind once the water is gone and to dry out carpets and floors.

Currently, the 6-12 building has no water, which has resulted in school being cancelled for today. The current waterline is 50 years old and has obviously failed somewhere under the building. Repairing it does not make long-term sense, so we are replacing it. On Saturday, a new water line will be bored under the building. They believe the work will be completed so that we are able to have school on Monday. IF we don't have water restored by Monday, we would likely begin the Thanksgiving Break on Monday and not have school all of next week. Hopefully, that doesn't happen.

West Monona will not have school tomorrow Friday, November 21st due to a broken water main at the 6-12 building.

All practices for high school and middle school are canceled for this evening. Also, the JH Wrestling meet is canceled.

Additional information, the following grades have not been fed lunch due to the water main break: Grades 6-8.

Due to a water main break at the high school, the entire district will be dismissed at 12:30 PM today. Please call the office if you have any questions.

REMINDER - The JH Boys Basketball game against Schleswig for tonight has been canceled due to them not having enough players.

Who wants Spartan Baseball gear before Christmas! We currently have a X Grain store open. It closes next Sunday, Nov. 23 in order to get items here for Christmas. We will also do an order in the spring that will consist of t-shirts, hoodies, etc.

Also, there is no JH Boys Basketball game.
