The West Monona Board will be holding a special board meeting on Tuesday October. 27th at 4:30. The main purpose of the meeting is to consider a resolution to explore and negotiate a potential Whole Grade Sharing Agreement with Whiting Community School District for the 2027-28 school year. The Whiting Board will be meeting on Monday to consider a similar resolution. Passage of this resolution allows the two districts to stay within required timelines to discuss WGS and if it would be beneficial. It DOES NOT lock the districts into anything beyond discussion.
The Spartans will travel to West Sioux for the Round of 16!

A HUGE round of applause for our 2026 WMDT soloists! Brie Sorensen, Jaysa Ross, Lydia Fester, Charis Sorensen, and Leila Holverson. They took the floor with their solos at the ISDTA State Solo Qualifiers and absolutely killed it!
These WMDT dancers have worked so hard this season and have shown so much growth, dedication, and love for these routines! We are SO SO SO proud of them!
DI ratings were awarded to Brie Sorensen, Lydia Fester, Charis Sorensen, and Leila Holverson - and Charis Sorensen, will be advancing to the State finals by placing in the top ten of today’s soloists! We cannot wait to see her take the stage again at the Iowa State Dance Team Championships in December!!!
