Congratulations to Volleyball on winning the Western Valley Conference outright with their sweep of OABCIG last night!! What a great night for our girls!! If you haven't gotten a chance to watch them yet this season, clear your calendar for Wednesday the 22nd, to come watch them play at HOME for the second round of Regionals!
Tonight is Senior Night for Football, Football Cheer, Cross Country and Band. Seniors will be recognized BEFORE the game around 6:45. Parents and seniors please meet on the north end of the bleachers and Audrey will get you lined up.
Please stick around after the game and watch a new West Monona Football Tradition unfold. From this year forward, on Senior Night, our Seniors will "pass the torch" (football) to the 8th grade football players.
The Junior Class will be hosting a tailgate tonight from 5:30 -7:00pm. It will be located in the south west corner of the parking lot. Come hungry and show some support our Juniors!
Tonight's theme is Pink Out!
This week we will be honoring our Seniors who have participated in fall activities.
Thursday will be our Volleyball Senior Night. Seniors will be recognized before the Varsity game at approximately 7:00pm.
Friday at our Varsity Football game, we will honor our Senior Football players, Cheerleaders, Cross Country runners and Band members. We will do this prior to the game starting at approximately 6:45pm.
Parents of these Seniors, please be to the game 15 minutes prior to your child being recognized so that we can get you guys lined up and we are ready to go.
West Monona FFA will be hosting a tailgate tonight before the Home Varsity Football Game!
They'll be serving burgers, chips, and desserts .
They will start serving at 5:30pm.
Come grab a bite and support your local FFA! 💙💛
At halftime, all Flag football, 29ers and Middle School football players will be announced by team and will run out onto the field to be recognized. If your child is a youth football player, have them wear their jersey and they will get into the game for free!
The Youth Cheerleaders will also be performing at halftime and they will get into the game for free also!
Game starts at 7:00pm.
Youth Cheer will meet in the grass area on the north end of the bleachers during the 2nd quarter. Youth football players will gather at the track at the north end of football field with approximately 2 minutes left on the game clock at the end of the 2nd quarter.

Please notify the Elementary office if your child is going to ride the bus to the High School for Cheer Clinic after school today, October 8th.
The home game scheduled for Monday, October 6th, against KP has been canceled due to them not having enough players.
Bus Routes may be running a little late today, Thursday October 2nd. Please allow a little extra time for your child to arrive home from the bus.
If your child wishes to participate, please get this form filled out online or turn in the form that was sent home by Wednesday at 10am.
