WITCC is coming to the high school on Monday, February 2nd, during 8th period to speak to some students about IEP and special education information for post secondary school. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the high school.

Afternoon Bus Route Update - Friday, January 30

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please note that on Friday, January 30, the town route will be combined with other routes for the afternoon (PM) bus only.
Students who normally ride the following stops will ride the listed bus for the PM route :
--Ewing Day Care and 13th & Marble --Tony's bus
--Diamond & 10th (Central) and Liberty (12th & Cameo) -- John's Bus
--Elementary Stop (2nd stop), 17th & Sunset, and 15th & Elmwood --Matt's Bus

Thank you for your understanding that routes may be a few minutes late.

Friday, January 30

It's Super Regional day for Wolves Wrestling! The girls will be heading to Atlantic, and wrestling will start at 4:00pm. Good Luck Girls!! Punch those tickets to State!!

HS Boys Basketball will take on the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers in their first round of the Western Valley Conference Tournament. Good luck boys!!

HS Girls Basketball will be traveling to Akron today. JV will start at 4:30pm, with Varsity starting at 6:00pm

JH Girls Basketball will head to Logan this afternoon to take on the LOMA Panthers. Game will start at 4:00pm.

Briahanna Hill is signing her letter of intent with Iowa Central this morning at 9:00am!

JH Girls Basketball will play at home today against the Boyer Valley Bulldogs! 4:00pm start time.

HS Boys Wrestling to Elk Point Jefferson, SD today. Wrestling starts at 5:30pm.

HS Girls Basketball takes on the Westwood Rebels tonight in the first round of the WVC tournament. Game is in Sloan and will start at 7:00pm

It's a great day to be a Spartan!
Today, two Spartans will be signing their letters of intent!
Chloe Broer will sign at 9:00am with the University of Sioux Falls for Track and Cross Country.
Ashlee Pittet will sign at 10:00am with Morningside for Track.

JH Boys Wrestling will have their first meet tonight at Westwood! Wrestling will start at 4:00pm

Monday, January 26
Tonight is a night full of basketball! Come early and stay to cheer on all our Spartans!
JH Girls basketball will start at 4:00pm tonight against the Kingsley-Pierson Panthers.
JV Girls basketball will also start at 4:00pm and they will be taking on Boyer Valley Bulldogs.
JV Boys basketball will take on West Sioux at 5:00pm.

Tonight is also SENIOR NIGHT!!!
Prior to Girls Varsity starting at 6:00pm, we will honor the Senior Girl basketball players, Senior Cheerleaders and Senior Dancers! This will happen at approximately 5:45pm.
Senior Boys will be honored right after the girls are done playing/before their warmups begin.

School is canceled at West Monona tomorrow, Friday, January 23rd, due to the windchills.

West Monona will be having a 2-hour late start tomorrow Friday, January 23rd due to the wind chills.

Tuesday, January 20th:
HS Basketball is heading to Moville to take on the Woodbury Central Wildcats! JV games have been shortened today and the start time has been pushed back to starting at 4:30pm.

JH Girls Basketball will be at Home against Charter Oak Ute. Game will start at 4:00pm

Wolves will travel down to Council Bluffs for the Lewis Central Tri. Wrestling will start at 5:00pm.

Tonight is Youth Night at our Home Basketball Game against Westwood!
All West Monona youth basketball players and cheerleaders will get in free. Girls youth basketball and cheerleaders will be recognized during half time of the girls varsity game. Boys youth basketball will be recognized during the boys varsity half time. Girls varsity starts at 6:00pm with boys varsity to follow.

Spartan Wrestling is heading to Bishop Heelan. Wrestling starts at 5:30pm.

JH Boys Wrestling Practice starts today!
Practice will go until 5:15/30.
There will be no practice Tuesday due to Coach Meadows coaching at the HS wrestling meet in Heelan.

Reminder - The Basketball Cheer Clinic is today. It will take place at the elementary. And will be done by 5:00pm.
