The July West Monona School Board Meeting will be held July 15th at 4:30pm in the high school library instead of July 20th due to scheduling conflicts. Agenda items include: TAG staff sharing agreement with West Harrison, AEA agreements, 2025 audit review, insurance renewal, board policy reviews, 8th grade eligibility guidelines, Magic Depot agreement, and athletic sharing agreements with Whiting.

Two informational meetings and discussions regarding 8th grade eligibility for high school sports will be held in the auditorium on Wednesday and Thursday (July 8th and 9th) at 5:30pm for interested parents and community members. A quorom of the school board may be present on both dates but there will be no deliberation or action upon any matter within the scope of the Board’s policy-making duties during these meetings.

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ TRACK UPDATE 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Good news, Spartan Nation! The resurfacing project at the West Monona High School track has been completed, and the track is now OPEN for community use once again. We appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation throughout the construction process. The improvements will provide a safer, higher-quality surface for our students, athletes, walkers, and runners for years to come. As a reminder: ✅ Walkers and runners are welcome to use the track. ❌ Pets are not allowed on the track or athletic fields. ❌ Bikes, skateboards, and motorized vehicles are prohibited on the track surface.
