Elementary parents:
Tomorrow elementary students may bring their costumes in their backpacks. Please no weapons or gory costumes. The PK-2 costume parade will start at 2:00 pm in the elementary gym. Families are welcome to sign in to view the costume parade. The 3-5 students will do a fluency parade for businesses in town and return at 2:30 pm for their party.

The youth dance clinic will meet from 2:30-4:30 this afternoon at the elementary. Due to the early release there has been some confusion on this. If you did not send a note or contact the office to confirm your child's attendance, we ask that you contact the office prior to 2:00 pm so we can ensure students go where they should after school.

The Spartan VB team dominated Missouri Valley in the opening round of regionals, 3-0. The Spartans move on to play Logan-Magnolia, at Logan, on October 28 at 7:00 pm. Spartan PRIDE!!

The Western Valley Conference has voted to make admission to all varsity events $5 for K-12 students and adults. This will go into effect immediately.
Tomorrow night (10/11/19) is Youth Football Night. West Monona is hosting Westwood at 7 pm. Any flag, 29ers, or junior high West Monona or Westwood football player wearing their game jersey will get in the game for free. 29ers, junior high, and flag football players will be recognized on the field at halftime.
Today’s cross country meet at Dunlap has been canceled. It is rescheduled for 10/17/19 but we will not attend due to a scheduling conflict.
Cold Weather Reminder: The school policy is that students are required to wear coats if it is below 55 degrees, hats and gloves below 32 degrees. The “feels like” temperature will be used to determine this. Students without will sit in the office.
