**BOYS BASKETBALL** First practice starts Nov. 16th for any high school boy that is interested in playing basketball this season. We are also looking for one or two high schoolers to be managers. Anyone interested in playing or ,managing can contact Coach Holverson at 712-420-9911. Players need to have all physical paper work turned in to the office before practice starts and be signed off as able to participate before they will be allowed to practice. GO SPARTANS!!!

**Middle School Girls Basketball** The middle school girls basketball team will be having a team meeting tomorrow (Monday - 11/2) after school in the cafeteria. If any girl is interested in playing Jr-H girls basketball please come to the meeting.
Congratulations to the Spartan Cross Country team at the Audubon State Qualifying Meet. The girls finished 7th out of 18 teams and the boys finished 5th out of 18 teams. GREAT JOB SPARTANS!!!

West Monona is beginning to run low on masks at both the MS/HS & Elementary schools. Please ask your students to return their cloth face masks that they received while at school. SPARTAN FANS! Saturday is a Spartan packed day! The Spartan XC team will be trying to take the Western Valley Conference crown at home in the WVC XC Meet at the Onawa Country Club! Running starts at 10:00am! The Spartan Volleyball team will also be in action on Saturday at home hosting the West Monona Volleyball Tournament. First serve is at 9:00am!
