PK-5 parents, you can pick up printed materials at the elementary for this week until 8 pm tonight. The light is on a sensor so it may be dark, but the door is open until 8 pm.

Governor Reynolds has extended the closing of schools through April 30th. We will continue to provide free meals to students. There will be a new sign-up form sent out tomorrow. We will continue to provide educational updates as they occur.

Tonight WM teachers will have a parade through Onawa. The teachers will leave the HS at 5:30 and drive the numbered streets in town. Remember to keep you distance but come out and wave!

PK-5 parents don’t forget that you can pick up new printed materials Monday between 8 am-8 pm from the elementary entryway. The lights are on a timer so go on in even if it is dark, the lights will come on and the building is open until 8 pm.

Due to lack of participation, we are removing Turin from our list of free meal sites. We will continue to provide free meals in Blencoe and Onawa. Thank you, again, to our ROCK STAR food service workers that are working tirelessly to help our students in their time of need!

Rumor Control: There is no meeting taking place today to determine how long school will be closed. As of right now, we are scheduled to reopen on April 14th. Closing longer will only occur upon the recommendation of the Governor, CDC, and/or Iowa Department of Public Health.

Elementary parents, the printed materials available at the school from 8am-8pm tomorrow are the same materials that were emailed to you. It is available to help those who could not print the materials on their own.

Governor Reynolds announced at 8:15 this evening that all Iowa schools should close for four weeks effective immediately. We apologize for the short notice, but want to be sure we keep our students, staff and community safe by following our Governor's recommendation. More information to come as this is a developing situation.
