Middle school football will have an optional team camp starting at 4:00 pm on Monday, August 19. The first day of mandatory practice is August 23. All players must have their physical form, concussions form, and health history form turned into the MS office prior to practicing. No exceptions will be made.

Remember to register your children for school if you have not done so already. The registration process is completed online and directions can be found on the West Monona website. Those registering by Friday, August 9 will not be charged the $2 convenience fee. If you have any questions or need computer access you can contact any of the school offices for assistance. ATTENTION FALL SPORTS PARTICIPANTS:
All HS practices will begin on August 12.
Football at 4-8 pm, Cross Country at 7:30 am, and VB at 8-10 am. MS Cross Country and VB will begin practice on Monday, August 26 at 3:45 pm. MS FB information will be shared soon.
Remember, ALL students participating in sports must have a valid physical and concussion form signed and turned into the MS office BEFORE participating at practice. Forms can be picked up in MS and HS offices.

West Monona will be utilizing online registration for the 2019-20 school year. You may register your student(s) anytime starting Aug 5 - Aug 21. All students MUST be registered for school by Aug 21. You must use a laptop or desktop computer at this time.
On Aug 6, computers and staff will be available at all school offices from 8 am-7 pm to register. If you need computer access, you may also stop at any of the school offices between Aug 5-Aug 21 from 8 am-4 pm. Directions can be found at the link below.

The softball game will be played at JJ Jensen baseball and softball fields in Harlan. It is on Cyclone Street, near the fairgrounds.
Head out to the baseball field to see Spartan baseball kick off district play vs West Harrison. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 in Onawa. Remember admission is $6 for all and no passes are accepted. Go Spartans!!
The IGHSAU has released the regional final information. The Spartans will travel to Harlan to face Mount Ayr on Monday at 7:00. Let’s take a big crowd and support the girls as they play for a spot in the state tournament!
