Happy Wednesday Spartans! The Westwood NHS will be having a Socktober Fundraiser tomorrow night during the West Monona-Westwood volleyball match. They will have a basket at the game for any donation of new pairs of socks to help people in need. GO SPARTANS!!!
Happy Tuesday Spartans! The XC State Qualifying Sites have just been announced! The Spartans will be traveling to Panorama! The State Qualifying meet will be held on Thursday, October 19th starting at 4 p.m. GO SPARTANS!!!
The Elementary playground is getting new surfacing and a new piece of equipment installed! We are very excited to have this project starting tomorrow! Due to this installation, the playground will be closed for outside usage, the gates will remain locked until the project is complete. It will take a few weeks to complete. Thank you for your understanding.
As a reminder, per the Elementary handbook:
Students are required to wear coats if it is below 55 degrees, hats and gloves below 32 degrees. The “feels like” temperature will be used to determine this.
● If students do not have proper clothing, they may not be able to attend outside
recess that day. If your child is in need of a coat, hat, or gloves, please reach
out to the school.
