The weather is cold, students need to bring a winter coat, gloves, hats, etc. As the handbook states: Students are required to wear coats if it is below 55 degrees, hats and gloves below 32 degrees. The “feels like” temperature will be used to determine this. If students do not have proper clothing, they may not be able to attend outside recess that day. If your child is in need of a coat, hat, or gloves, please reach out to the school.

The Wolves are in Logan for the Logan-Magnolia Tournament, wrestling starts at 9 am. The Spartan Wrestling team is in Neloa for the Tri-Center Tournament, wrestling starts at 10 am. The Spartan JV Boys' basketball team is in Dunlap for the Boyer Valley JV Tournament, the first game starts at 10:30. The Spartan Varsity Girls' basketball team is also in action today as they are playing Boyer Valley in the Berkenpas Scholarship Classic in Mapleton, the game starts at 3. Spartan Girls Basketball Fans! Your Spartans will compete in the first annual Berkenpas Scholarship Classic hosted by MVAOCOU on Saturday, January 11th in Mapleton. Tickets for this event are $12 and must be purchased on Bound. The ticket will allow you to watch all 4 games during the day. Before the start of each game, scholarships will be presented to each of the senior winners from each team. This will be done before the starting lineups for each of the games. Come out and watch your Spartan girls' basketball team take on the Boyer Valley Bulldogs in the first annual Berkenpas Scholarship Classic. GO SPARTANS!!!
