The weather is very cold. Elementary students must have a hat & gloves, in order to go outside for recess. Please make sure you are sending these with your student(s) daily. The handbook states: Temperature & wind chill factor must be 5 degrees or above to be outdoors. Other factors will be considered. We use www.weather.com as a guideline. Students are required to wear coats if it is below 55 degrees, hats and gloves below 32 degrees. The “feels like” temperature will be used to determine this. If students do not have proper clothing, they may not be able to attend outside
recess that day. If your child is in need of a coat, hat, or gloves, please reach
out to the school.

The Spartan B/G JV/V Basketball teams are also back in action at home tonight as they host the Tigers of Tekamah-Herman. Happy Thursday Spartans! The Spartan Varsity basketball teams are back in action tonight at home as they close out the 2023 year. The Spartans will host Storm Lake St. Mary's in a varsity-only matchup with the girls tipping off at 6 and varsity boys to follow. The Spartan JH boys and girls are also back in action tonight at home as they host Charter Oak-Ute with both being 1 game and the girls tip-off at 4. This is the JH boys' last game of 2023.
