West Monona Schools will have a 2 hour late start on Thursday, February 13, due to the forecasted wind chills.

Tonight’s basketball game vs West Sioux is a JV/V girls only game. JV starts at 6:00, with the varsity to follow.

The final games of the WVC tournament have been set. The girls will travel to Sloan to take on Westwood at 7:30, Thursday. The boys will travel to Correctionville to take on K-P at 6:00 on Friday night. Go Spartans!!

The elementary is participating in the annual American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge.This year the association has proposed a challenge to give back to the school.

The first round of the WVC tourney has been released. The girls will host OABCIG on Thursday, JV @ 6:00 with varsity to follow. The boys will travel to Lawton on Friday, JV @ 6:00 with varsity to follow.
There will be a HS SB meeting Wednesday morning at 8:45 in the HS library. There will be a brief HS track meeting on Wednesday at 3:30 in the HS library.
Tuesday’s MS Girls BB game vs West Harrison is canceled and will not be made up due to low numbers for West Harrison.
Monday’s JV BB games vs Woodbine have been canceled due to scheduling conflicts with Woodbine.
Due to the possibility of deteriorating road conditions, all after school practices will be done at 5:00 tonight. All district facilities will close at 5:00. Youth practices after 5:00 will be canceled.
The MS girls BB game for today has been rescheduled to January 30 @ 4:00 pm in Onawa.
Due to the late start, the CNA class will not meet today. The class will now be held Friday morning.
School in West Monona will run two hours late due to dense fog. No breakfast will be served.
