This is a reminder for all parents that the high school will be taking semester tests tomorrow. Juniors and sophomores are able to sign out of school during the day during tests they have opted out of, study halls, or college classes already completed. Freshman are not allowed to sign out tomorrow. Thursday will be used as an intervention day. Students failing a 4th quarter class or missing a semester test will need to come to school to finish up starting at 8:20. Parents will be notified if their student should be present. Juniors, sophomores, and freshmen who have completed all 4th quarter requirements are not required to be in school on Thursday, as they will be finished on Wednesday. The Middle School will have an Awards/Pie in the Face program on Thursday, May 25. The awards program will start at 12:00.

The Boy's Distance Medley is at 9:40, Girl's 4x2 is at 11, Boy's 400 Hurdles is at 12:20, Girl's 4x1 is at 12:40, and the Boy's 4x4 will wrap up the day for the Spartans at 2:10 this afternoon. West Monona Elementary Concert will take place tonight, May 16th, at the high school in the Ooten Auditorium. Kindergarten-1st grades will perform at 6:00 pm. 2nd-3rd grades will perform at 6:45 pm. 4th & 5th grades will perform at 7:30 pm. Students should arrive 15 minutes prior to their concert time and dress in their best Spring attire. See you tonight!
West Monona Middle School & High School will be having their remedial academic period from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. on the following days: 5/16, 5/17, 5/18, and 5/22. The remedial period is open to any West Monona student, but is required for students who currently have an F in a class. If a student can get their grades up during this remedial time it becomes much less likely they will have to take summer school to recover the credit.
