West Monona has received some amazing donation this year. Backpacks and school supplies from the Kiwanis Club. School supplies from the Hoffman Agency of Onawa. Thank you to all that helped donate!

Correction: the MS FB game tomorrow is at HOME, not at Moville. We will play 8th grade first, then a couple 7th grade quarters. Sorry for the confusion.
We have two changes to MS athletics this week. First, the MS FB game at Moville tomorrow will be 8th grade first, then a couple 7th grade quarters due to low numbers. Second, the MS VB game at Sloan will now be Sept. 24 due to a scheduling error.
Don’t miss out on the Homecoming activities tonight. Powder Puff football at 6:00 at the FB field, then Power Buff VB at 7:30 in the gym!
Tuesday, Sept. 10, the Spartan VB team will host Youth VB Night. Any student that attended the VB camp can get in free if they are wearing their camp shirt. These students will also get a gift and a picture with the team. It is a WHITE OUT, so be sure to wear your white!
Preschool students will wear purple on color day during Homecoming week.

As a reminder, the football entry fee for adults and K-12 students is $5 per person.
Also, please remember that students should be in the bleachers during the game, cheering for the Spartans, and should not bring footballs.

West Monona Families, please remember that tomorrow, and every Wednesday, is a late start at 9:20 for all PK-12 students. Tomorrow is also the first day for our PK students.
As a reminder, there is a 2:20 dismissal for K-5 and a 2:30 dismissal for 6-12 students today.
High School students will be issued computers tomorrow morning during the first day of school.

Clarification for 5th grade band...
Tuesday, August 20 from 5:00-7:00 in the elementary music room you can test instruments and purchase from Midbell. If you can’t attend Tuesday, you can also test instruments Thursday during open house.
Attention 5th Grade parents/guardians!
Any 5th grade student interested in band needs to stop by the music room at open house on Thursday evening to test out instruments with Ms. Shaw.
